The girls have all had a lovely weekend enjoying the privilege of being the first guests to relax in your beautiful cottage. Can recommend autumn walks in the old woods of Drum, and (for anyone mad enough and immune to the cold) paddling in the River Dee! Hope we'll all be back one day!

Lovely annual fishing week on Lower Crathes beat. Conditions perfect, loads of fish… Fish of the week 16lbs.

Golfed on the wee course at Inchmarlo - lovely 9 hole course criss crossed by stonewalls, streams and water lizards - say no more!!

Very comfy house and welcoming hosts.

Fishing at Banchory and Upper Drum: 14 salmon and 5 sea-trout. Great fishing despite almost heat wave conditions. Everyone very tanned. Coy Steading a marvellous retreat after long hours on the river. Highlight of the week was seeing an osprey flying up the river holding a sea-trout in it’s talons. Many thanks, see you next year!

This is by far one of the best equipped and comfortable lodgings we have stayed in. We lacked for nothing, and the beautiful Scottish summer lived up to it’s reputation!!

We would definitely return for another visit, my only regret is that we did not stay longer.

The whole clan came to visit from all areas of Scotland. Barbeques were lit, castles visited and pipes played.

All this in first class accommodation. Truly a holiday to remember.

The surrounding in this area are perfect and every day was filled with exciting trips and left us with many good memories. Loved the steading. Spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The weather has been kind to us – cold and crisp with blue skies some days. This is our first visit to this area and we have enjoyed it very much. The bonfire and fireworks in Banchory last Saturday were spectacular!
