Website by Caird’s Design - contact as above |
A highly versatile self catering holiday house accommodating 2 to 10 people plus infants. There are a maximum of 5 bedrooms available plus the addition of the large attic playroom for use as an extra bedroom where necessary. |
Originally Coy was a traditional 19th century Aberdeenshire granite farm building for housing cattle and storing grain. |
Today the cottage remains full of character whilst managing to be extremely cosy and warm. |
It is fully equipped to make your stay as easy as possible. |

Well behaved pets are very welcome, although we do ask that they stay within the kitchen area and don’t go into the lounges or bedrooms. |
Part of the house can be shut off for smaller parties. |
Coy is non smoking. |

Coy is in a peaceful, stunning location - a rural setting on the crest of a ridge with panoramic views to the south over Royal Deeside, surrounded by fields and forestry. It is only 4 miles from Banchory where most facilities are available. |

There is a wealth of family orientated things to do at all times of year. (There is a folder in the house full of ideas.) The beaches, mountains and rivers are spectacular. The area is brimming with history and Scottish heritage - Crathes Castle is just 1.5 miles away. |

Coy is in a very popular and ideal location for a fishing vacation. It’s a relaxing and cosy house to come back to after a long day’s fishing. It is just a mile from the River Dee and there is plenty of space for rod storage. |

Coy is also suitable for families with any aged children. The garden is almost flat and it’s fenced for the benefit of young children. There is a large playroom full of toys, books, videos and games. |
Older and less able people have also found Coy appropriate as there are bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. There is just a small step up to the kitchen door. |
